Before teaching himself how to code, Corey was a Teach for Australia associate brightening young lives with the wonders of the Spanish language. Trained as an economist, Corey now creates websites and campaign apps to amplify the voices of progressive causes. Corey loves helping passionate campaigners master the NationBuilder community-organising platform, something he’s been doing since 2013. If you want to be his best friend forever tell him you think the Mighty Adelaide Crows are a chance this year.

Joachim's main claim to fame is that he shared a class with Jessica Mauboy growing up in Darwin. When he's not riding J-Mau's coat tails, Joachim works with campaign organisations and environmental groups to bring their digital strategy to life in the form of gorgeous action-focused websites. He spends his days leading the team, applying his programming skills and creating powerful sites for progressive causes. When the heady intrigue of campaign website creation is too overwhelming, Jo relaxes by tinkering with his recipe for the perfect home brew.

Rhys grew up on the beautiful NSW South Coast. Since then, he has spent a number of years living and working in South America, North and Southeast Asia, including as an Australian diplomat. Over that time, a couple of dreams emerged: (1) finding a place where he could contribute to constructive social change, and (2) returning to the coast. Since joining Code Nation, at least one of those dreams has come true.

When working from home, Rhys typically spends his days thinking of ways to make Code Nation a better agency, supporting his more technically-able colleagues to create community organising technology, and trying not to step on Lego. 

A scientist by nature and an artist at heart, Viviana finds her role as Lead Liquid Programmer at Code Nation to be the perfect place to put her graphic designer's eye and scientist’s brain to work. Viv is passionate about protecting life on this beautiful planet - so she's excited to be able to design and build digital campaigns for some of the world’s best environmental campaigns. When she's not riding through Buenos Aires to her post-graduate course in Science Communication Viv is planning her next sustainable-living life hack.

Sara got her start in communications at a security company and an employment agency call centre. With an IT diploma, she transitioned to frontend development and is eager to use her skills to help build websites for progressive campaigns. Sara is also a seasoned martial artist, holding a 3rd dan black belt. When she's not training or coding, she can be found tinkering on her 3D printer or planning her next adventure overseas.

Meet our Project Manager, Clea, who cares deeply for the planet and people. Clea thrives helping like-minded clients with problem solving and creative thinking, having run her own sustainable fashion business, and lectured in sustainability and entrepreneurship. When she's off the clock, you'll find Clea sewing, planning an elaborate meal, running to the beach for an ocean swim, or going on long walks with her family.

Ben started out volunteering at his local Red Cross op shop, tried his hand as a radio operator at big stadium events, and eventually worked as a Support Engineer after graduating from Coder Academy. He joined the Code Nation team because he wanted to pair his coding skills with his passions for environmental conservation, reducing social inequality and promoting equal opportunity. When he's not building awesome campaign sites for progressive movements, you'll find Ben playing boardgames with friends, cooking up a storm or checking out the best new food spots in his home town of Ipswich.
